Kraken is the technology tentacle of the Octopus Energy Group. 

We're looking for a Talent Sourcer to join our recruitment team in London. You will work closely with our other recruiters and hiring managers across the Octopus Energy Group - we share ideas and look to continually evolve the way we do things to improve candidate experience and help hiring managers hire amazing people.

Your focus will be on hiring across Kraken; as part of the wider Octopus Energy group, Kraken helps world-leading businesses across the industry do everything from managing and optimising energy resources, to delivering excellent customer experiences at a lower cost.

This role will focus on hiring for a range of roles across software development, data science, infrastructure, and product management; both in the UK and internationally. You will need to be adaptable however, and have the ability to hire across other areas of the group if the need arises.

What you'll do This role is focused on sourcing, screening and progressing candidates through the interview pipelines to recruiters and hiring managers Build great relationships with candidates, with a view of short and long term hiresConstantly provide an amazing candidate experience and look to always improve this across the team Work collaboratively across the wider recruitment team, and Kraken TechnologiesTake a consultative approach to recruitment - focusing on speed, quality and diversity What you'll needExperience sourcing or recruiting across challenging roles, in a fast moving businessExperience hiring within investments or asset management would be fantastic! Super organisation skills, and an ability to prioritiseYou love to work with all kinds of people - you’ve got no functional shoulder pads - it’s not ‘my team versus other teams’, it’s ‘we’re all working together to change the energy system globally, and I’ll lend anyone a hand’You'll need to interview candidates, so previous experience screening and assessing candidates across a variety of roles for both hard skills and cultural qualities is needed Why else you'll love it hereWondering what the salary for this role is?
