We’re expanding our Credit Team in Leicester and are looking for an experienced professional to join our team. The successful individual will have several years of experience building relationships with and managing 3rd party performance. This role has a broad remit with a particular focus on seeking out and onboarding new and innovative agencies to work with as well as taking the lead on managing existing 3rd parties across the credit spectrum. Alongside this, the successful candidate will also build our B2B credit capability both internally and with our 3rd party partners. What you'll do Create Octopus Energy’s supplier strategy road-map, challenging the status quo and constantly seeking out innovative 3rd parties to enhance customer engagement, reduce risk and solve debt challenges Define, implement and monitor KPIs across all our 3rd party / DCA journeysOptimising the performance of 3rd parties in the collection of overdue debt, in line with internal policies and industry regulationsA strong ability to interpret and analyse data, performance and trends against targets to opportunities to enhance performance Be part of the budget creation process and manage all 3rd parties within a pre-agreed budget, formally reporting costs and benefits on a monthly basis Manage 3rd parties through conducting regular performance reviews, whilst identifying areas of focus to achieve / exceed KPI’sWork with internal teams to implement targeted campaigns to tackle cohorts of debt Keeping customers at the heart of decision making and ensuring customers in financial difficulty are treated fairly Own the reduction of Business bad debt. Improve existing strategies whilst using a data led approach to create new collections strategiesWork with external bureaus to strengthen the understanding of business portfolio and rationalise to make sound risk and operational decisions. Speak to customers that have escalated queries and complaintsWhat you'll needA track record of successfully managing 3rd parties in a fast paced environment, ideally within CreditExperience of scaling up teams and creating customer centric journeys Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with customers and 3rd parties third partiesNumerate, analytical and strong financial awarenessExcellent influencing skills A meticulous attention to detail and sound judgement The ability to work independently and quickly adapt to change in a fast paced environmentExcellent project management skills and being proficient with analytical tools and using themPassion for delivering high levels of customer service in a regulated environment.Travel to other sites may be required
