About the Role:
The Sr. People Generalist will assist our People Business Partners (PBP) and local leadership with the employee lifecycle of HR activities including onboarding, administration, and employee relations. The Sr. Generalist should demonstrate a passion for HR and be energized by the challenges involved with a fast-paced, growing organization.Responsibilities:Support of administrative duties which may include: full-cycle recruitment, new hire onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, employment separations, employment verifications, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance, and HRIS management Provide day-to-day performance management guidance and coaching to leadership such as communication strategy, people processes, employee engagement, interviewing, and systemsWork closely with leadership and employees to improve work relationships, increase morale, productivity and retentionResponsible for benefits administration, which includes tasks such as conducting benefits meetings, assisting with open enrollment, managing leaves of absenceReports and manages workers’ compensation and injury claims including any work accommodations, referrals, and updating OSHA logsMaintain both the active and inactive personnel filesConduct exit interviews and determine trendsSupport other duties and initiatives as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:At least 2+ years of Human Resources experience, including working knowledge of HR services (employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and employment law)Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or another related field preferred SHRM-CP or PHR preferredExceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and collaboration skillsDetail-oriented and highly organizedDemonstrated proficiency in communication (written and oral)Must be able to work independently and on a teamProficient in basic Microsoft Office and/or Google suiteAnalytical, problem-solving, project management, and collaboration skillsBilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred
