To date, weâve donated over $10 million AUD (roughly $7.4 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe.
Our team is made up of over 120 amazing people in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, and Europe working hard to reach our ambitious goal to have the greatest impact possible â for people and the planet. How ambitious you ask? Well, it involves increasing our annual donation 10-fold in the next couple of years to get closer to our mission â toilets and clean water for all!
A bit about the role
Reporting to our Director of Product Management, as our US-based Sr. Product Manager youâll ensure we deliver a seamless and best-in-class onsite experience that works beautifully for our customers and our business. Youâll champion, contribute to, and execute against the product roadmap whilst working elbow-to-elbow with our two Product Managers, Product Design team, and Engineering counterparts in your pod area of ownership.
As our customer-obsessed user experience expert, youâll help deliver new products and features through effective scoping, defining key metrics, requirement wrangling, and leveraging data. Your day might start by reviewing overnight feedback from customers and diving deep into customer research, then sync up with our Associate PMs and Insights team to improve product dashboard content, and from there prepare content for upcoming ceremony such as a discovery workshopâ or quarterly planning prep. âYouâll be focused is on detailed understanding of the product suite's long-term strategy and with your deep knowledge of our Who Gives A Crap and Good Time customers, they develop of the product strategy and set the parameters for our annual roadmapsâ.
While weâre hiring this role for our Los Angeles hub (and have an open AU-based Sr. Product Manager role we're hiring for in tandem), we still want to hear from you if youâre located in the US, Australia, UK, China, Hong Kong, or the Philippines and up for dedicating yourself to the PST and AEDT timezones from afar. Our Digital Product team spans across the US and Australia and works mostly remote-first (we have global co-working spaces in LA, NY, Melbourne, Sydney, and London that you are welcome to use, and also offer a stipend for hot desks and a slick WFH setup). And while weâre not totally immune to the effects of time zones challenging how we come together, weâve done plenty of testing on our ways of working and currently have our Digital Product team committing up to 4 hours per day of collaboration time which sees our US team aligning to PST afternoons and our Australian team diving into earlier mornings. We also believe in Slow (no-meetings) Mondays for our Australian team, which our US team enthusiastically celebrates on their respective Fridays.
If you worked here this past six months here are some things you might have been involved in:
Collaborated with a small cross-functional squad to rethink our Referral program, got your hands dirty and experimented with Shopify and Google Optimize, and presented informed recommendations on how to best move forward
Helped keep the team aligned, all the communication flowing, and all the collaboration happening by attending regular virtual sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives and other ceremonies
Put your slideshow and presentation chops to good use by helping our Head of Product design and co-host our freshly updated Digital Product 101 session for new hiresÂ
Contributed to our quarterly planning session by aligning on our cross-functional priorities against our annual strategy, and keeping our OKRs looking slick
Collaborated with our leadership, Growth Marketing team, and key XFN stakeholders to revise our digital product dashboards and ensured everyone has visibility into how the site is performing
Supported the design and launch plan of our holiday limited edition page and other key areas of our digital experience
Shared your thoughts and ideas to our company-wide DE&I, Work From Home, Customer Insights and CultureAmp surveys to make sure we are supporting you, your team and future teammates with a world-class culture experienceÂ
Owning the product backlog for your pod area and evolved it based on the latest changes in the business and customer experience
Put your blue sky thinking cap on and collaborated with engineering to prototype a new in-home device that helps us learn from our customers and help them seamlessly reorder
Helped keep the team aligned, all the communication flowing, and all the collaboration happening by attending regular virtual sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives and other ceremonies
Recorded yourself shaking and waving your way through Zoom with your Digital Product teammates that resulted in a punny and heart-warming IRL video recap that may or may not have been sung by Celine Dion
