We are looking for a fantastic Senior Hardware Engineer to help us build the technology to create a new “operating system”. Salary: £45,000 - £60,000. Reporting to: Yang Lu, CTO. Location: Old Street, with flexible working and WfH.
At VivaCity, we make cities smarter. We provide the operating system for road transport, helping cities apply modern technology to problems like congestion, air pollution, and adapting to the autonomous vehicle transition.
This starts with our computer vision-based sensors, which provide real-time data to understand accident blackspots, inform infrastructure changes, and support autonomous vehicles. This data is fed into our cutting-edge Reinforcement Learning algorithms for traffic lights to prioritise active travel and reduce congestion.
We are a fast-growing, 120-person scale-up, with a presence in most major cities across the UK and growing international presence. Join us to help our ultimate goal to make our vision of a community centered Smart City a reality.
