The team is structured to support our rapid growth ambitions and long-term ownership of energy assets.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual to join the Fund Management team to drive forward investor facing activities and deliverables, predominantly focused on our flagship listed investment trust, Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust (“ORIT”) www.octopusrenewablesinfrastructure.com whilst supporting and ensuring synergies and coordination across our broader private institutional funds. Ideally the candidate will bring experience from a similar previous role combined with a self-starting attitude and own ideas to make the role their own.What you'll do Responsible for maintaining records of key investor contacts, interactions and requests to build understanding of their investment objectives and directly support the Fund Managers to tailor presentations and address the right issues in the right meetingsIdentify (in coordination with the corporate broker) key investor targets and develop the marketing strategy accordingly, including coordination of meetings/roadshows and required materialsInternally project manage fundraising activities, coordinating inputs, proof reading for quality and directly contributing where necessary to the prospectus and various other documents including taking responsibility for certain deliverables e.g. Placing AgreementsCoordinate responses to queries from investors e.g. DDQs, ESG templates, ad hoc queries following meetings, ensuring at all times consistency across all fund responsesResponsible for the coordination, design and production of all external facing documents such as quarterly factsheets, ad-hoc and periodic investor presentations, interim and annual reports, ensuring that the latest data remains up to date Responsible for the coordination and production of materials for key investor meetings e.g. Annual results presentationsHave oversight of relationship with ORIT’s financial PR advisor, working alongside and ensuring coordination of key messages with our internal comms team where press involved, driving them to deliver opportunities for engagement (e.g. investor publications) Draft and coordinate RNS announcementsDrive the evolution of ORIT’s website to provide engaging content to investors, including videos, graphics, maps, interactive chartsMarket intelligence gathering including competitor analysis, monitor peer group activity, industry best practice and key issues affecting investors Contribute to reports to the Board Develop a strategy for thought leadership that can be utilised across our funds What you'll needWork experience in the financial sector preferably in an investor relations, fundraising or marketing role Creativity, with excellent written skills and ability to build engaging presentations and investor deliverablesNumeracy skills and ability to understand financial concepts Good attention to detail and accuracy Capability for independent judgement - ability to independently plan, organise and prioritise work, whilst being flexible in approach and able to support others as necessary with shifting priorities working autonomously and as a team player Proactivity in building excellent relationships across external partners and internal stakeholders and teamHighly organised with a high work rate, able to thrive in a busy environment juggling multiple competing prioritiesExperience of working on listed investment trusts would be an advantage with an understanding of the investor landscape and fundraising processesExperience in the renewables sector would be an advantageExperience of owning website content would be an advantageWhy else you'll love it hereWondering what the salary for this role is?
