Pay Rate: $73.00 - 89.00/hr (W2 Contractor)

The Role

Mozilla IT & Engineering Operations is seeking an outstanding integration engineer who will be responsible for developing, proposing and implementing solutions to integrate applications by evaluating existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and ensure that final solutions meet the organization's needs. The role is a key resource in the architecture, implementation, training, documentation, management, and providing of technical support. Someone who enjoys working with different teams and determining the best solution to address their needs and make them more successful. Someone who is passionate about learning and innovation, loves to experiment to find the best way to solve customers’ problems. You will evaluate the needs of a business and develop integrations that meet those needs. Truly outstanding abilities and job history are required to solve the Business Systems challenges at Mozilla.

As an Integration Engineer at Mozilla, you will…

Perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data

Design, build and maintain integrations and interfaces between related applications

Develop documentation, i.e. flowcharts, layouts, diagrams for system integrations

Record, track, and report integration performance and quality metrics

Assess and identify system improvements/enhancements and provide recommendations for appropriate solutions

Gather and analyze requirements and design solutions to meet business needs

Provide daily operational and production support for incident management and integration monitoring

Ensure existing interfaces are functioning as designed 

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance

Your Professional Profile

Strong knowledge of application integration technologies and using APIs

Problem-solving skills using creativity, customer service, and teamwork

Minimum of three to five (3-5) years experience with customization, business operations, systems development, business systems interactions, integrations and hands-on support

Comfortable with interfacing, scripting, and debugging

Proficiency in Linux, Python, Terraform, Java, and SQL

Fluent in a variety of programs, software and operating systems 

BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experiences

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent planning and project management skills; ability to effectively manage priorities to meet requirements and deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment, while working on different projects simultaneously
