As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. Our community of 68 million users have saved more than 178 million meals from going to waste across 17 countries, but there’s still a lot more we want to achieve.

Globally, more than a third of food is wasted, and climate experts agree that combating food waste is one of the most important things we can do to address the climate crisis. For us, it’s simple: the bigger we get, the better placed we’ll be to make a huge difference. We’re looking for an exceptional Sales Operations Manufacturer to join the Danish team at Too Good To Go in Copenhagen.

The expected starting date of this position is February/March 2023. 


Your mission:

In the quest for increasing our impact on food waste throughout the value chain, Too Good To Go has launched a new ambitious initiative to save food at scale with food producers of all sizes. We have successfully delivered a proof of concept and now we are ready to launch version 2.0, where we will:

Buy surplus food directly from different food producers, wholesalers and retailers.

Pack “Magic Parcels” with food from different producers making a valuable food box for consumers to buy in our Too Good To Go app Deliver the Magic Parcel directly to the doorstep of the Consumer.

Scale this model ambitiously, month over month

Smooth operations are pivotal to the viability of the model and therefore you will be a key part of driving its success. In close collaboration with the Sales team, you will be responsible for building, maintaining and optimising the day to day operations of the model.


Your role:

Reporting to the Head of Sales in Denmark, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating three key operational areas:

Managing, receiving, storing and packing of Magic Parcels together with our fulfilment partner.

Sending out Magic Parcels, and managing any claims for damages and service levels together with our logistics partners

Processing our purchase orders and invoices to/from our food producers partners

The role also includes: 

Inventory management. Ensuring that sales expectations are aligned with the inventory status. 

Maintaining strong relationships and communication with our partners, setting up new Magic Parcels with them.

Ensuring day to day management of deliveries, timelines, quantity and quality of the parcels to be shipped towards our users.

Setting up and maintaining processes for handling damages, errors or any other exception. 

Working closely with the Customer Care team to understand customer feedback. 

Preparing analysis of performance ad hoc.



You have previous experience within a similar role. You have worked in operations or logistics. Experience working with e-commerce will be a plus!

You have excellent communication skills (both written and oral).

You are fully proficient in Danish and English.

You are a goal- oriented person and have high attention to detail.

You are a people person, and have the ability to maintain strong relationships with our partners.

You have good skills in using MS Excel and/or Google Sheets. You have some experience analysing data and metrics in order to make improvements.

You are passionate about our mission. You have a true passion for sustainability - you understand the urgency of action for the planet.
