We're looking for a Quality Lead to head up and run our new department at Octopus Energy Heating, based in Portadown.
Your role will be to build and develop the systems, structure and scale for the Quality function from a blank canvas with the most efficient use of resources including lean methodologies to ultimately ensure right first time with zero defects and compliance with all applicable standards for a new generation of heat pumps for home heating.
With an almost unlimited order book, and already a very large Customer backlog before we even launch the products, you will use your knowledge, experience and drive, to scale up the Plant in conjunction with other functions, at lightning speed.
You are ultimately responsible for helping to develop the right cultures in the Operations function (fully aligned to Octopus Energy), recruiting, leading and training awesome colleagues to deliver the vision, mission and values of Octopus.What you'll do Lead the department, setup the systems, processes and structures needed to deliver excellence in right first-time quality to our Customers including all relevant accreditations to certification bodiesRecruit, lead, coach, train, grow and develop an awesome team of people to collectively deliver excitement, joy and the aspirations of the businessFail fast, fail early, fail often in order to succeed sooner.
