Kraken Siphon is a core technology that allows Octopus Energy to interact with other utilities.
We are looking for a Product Owner for Kraken Siphon that will help run through critical certification processes, own a technical team, and interact with other global technology teams across the organization and major customers.What you'll do Define, communicate, and update the product roadmap, all managed around specific certification cycles and timelines with electric utilities around the world.Work with the team leads and stakeholders to convert goals into 2-week sprint delivery plans.Scope out product proposals to ensure we’re building the best product, at the ideal level of detail. Work closely with designers to ensure designs align to product spec. Collaborate with developers to ensure project specs are clearly defined, and technical considerations effectively shape product decisions. Review customer feedback and customer analytics to conduct experiments and make effective decisions.Evangelize the product across the business and convert inbound business requests into production-ready functionality.Establish and iterate international ways of working & prioritization with stakeholders across multiple markets, providing a structured framework for success. Guide markets and teams on consistent ways of working so that the approach to product is both highly effective and efficient.Analyze and report on product health, ensuring that risks are identified early, and issues are resolved quickly. What you'll need Experience managing & delivering complex digital products, preferably high-reliability systems.Experience working with teams across multiple regions and time zones.Experience engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders.A start up / entrepreneurial mind-set being able to adjust to change and keep up with a fast moving business. Excellent communicator both verbal and written.Super organized with an eagle eye for detail.Be comfortable with working across multiple tasks & managing competing priorities.A deep interest in sustainability, green energy and achieving net zero.Helpful, but not required, to have functional business German language skills and an interest in traveling to the various utilities we work with.This position is open to candidates across the US.
