You’d be joining a team of 100 talented, ambitious people, growing in Europe, Australia and the USA, building a category-leading fintech product and all united by that same mission.

The Opportunity:

You will play an incredibly important role at Wagestream, providing pre and post sales technical consulting to prospective clients, whilst also ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction. Every client is like a jigsaw, whether 100 pieces or 10000 pieces; it’s down to you to figure it out, bring the pieces together and make it happen.

You will ultimately leave our clients thinking, “wow, Wagestream has the best product and platform” by conducting product demos, managing technical validation activities (including proof-of-concept exercises and pilots), and ultimately helping to develop the business case for partnering with Wagestream during the sales cycle.

This is a client-facing technical role therefore requiring a blend of excellent communication skills and technical expertise.

Responsibilities & tasks

What will you be doing?:

First and foremost, as part of the sales process, you will be helping to educate customer brands like Halfords, The Co-op, Greene King, NHS and beyond on how to get their HCM, Payroll, T&A/Workforce Management systems integrated with Wagestream.
You will be building positive relationships with every single customer interaction you have, allowing you to exert the level of technical influence on a customer’s decision as to who to buy from.
Using all of your tactics and knowledge to educate and convince key technical stakeholders within our clients that Wagestream provides the value to solve their business needs

Ideal candidate

We’d like you to have:

Experience in both customer facing and engineering/solutions roles, within SaaS focused businesses
Passion about shared success, both for our customers and your fellow teammates
Boundless energy piecing the technical puzzle together from the different systems and software interactions required to make the rollout of Wagestream successful.
A strong working knowledge of at least one programming language and are comfortable explaining technical concepts like APIs, webhooks, Single Sign On, SFTP
A background in Workforce Management/Payroll/HR Systems, whilst advantageous it’s not essential
Demonstrable experience as a Solutions Engineer / Sales Engineer / Solutions Consultant helping clients integrate their respective systems
Within 1 month you’ll:

Be proficient with how Wagestream integrates with various systems, and able to handle your first client calls
Configure and deliver your first proof-of-concept
Within 3 months you'll:

Have mastery of the Wagestream platform, how it operates, how we integrate, how best to demo and build proof-of-concepts against it.
Work with customers to understand and validate technical requirements (Security evaluation, Single Sign-On, Platform Integrations, API usage, Business Rules)
Be informed enough to begin to make product improvement suggestions.
Have showcased your Entrepreneurial mindset orientated around bringing momentum and “unblocks” at every hurdle
Within 6 months you’ll have:

Supreme confidence in your abilities in-front of clients to own calls, demonstrations and proof of concepts with Wagestream's product and platform
Have won complete trust and confidence from the squad team members that you interact with on a daily basis
