Kraken has secured licensing deals with large international energy clients like E.ON, EDF Energy, as well as Origin Energy in Australia and Tokyo Gas in Japan, replacing their core technology stack, re-imaging their operations with an unblemished track record of transformation success.  We're now charging our platform to serve the water and broadband industries as well. This role will be working within our new team - Kraken Utilities - focussing on understanding the customers/clients needs during the sales process, helping clients understand Kraken and our operating model, and helping define the scope for their transformation.

12 months ago we embarked on the ambitious mission of setting up Kraken Utilities to take the magic of Kraken to other utilities like water and broadband. The team has had explosive success already with clients already signed up in both water and telco domains, including Leep, Portsmouth Water, and Cuckoo. You’ll work as an expert in our Kraken Utilities cloud software platform and the water and broadband markets, having deep domain and product knowledge, being able to demo our product and help answer RFPs. We need someone specifically with experience in the utility industry (ideally broadband or water) with background in customer applications - ideally CIS, CRM solutions like SAP, Oracle Utilities and Salesforce.What you'll do Provide deep knowledge and understanding to potential clients. Deliver thorough Kraken product demonstrations to potential clients. Respond to and help answer RFPs. Collaborate and communicate with product development teams to remain informed about any product updates. Act as a communication point between the client and development team to discuss feedback on the product. Be an expert on the water and broadband markets as well as Kraken’s software platforms and servicesYou’ll develop an informed point of view on our market, the competition and how to position Kraken utilities as a leader within that spaceWhat you'll need Demonstrated experience in a sales or pre-sales role within the industry.Experience within the utility industry and up to date market knowledge. Solid and varied network of utility clients, partners and solution contacts across the UKDeep experience presenting and negotiating with C-suite clients and initiating strategic conversations To be a team player who can work effectively with your national and global teamTo be excited by travel
