We’re looking for a talented PR and Communications Executive to join our team and help tell the story of Octopus Energy globally.
You’ll play a central role in the communications team, working to support PR efforts in all areas and geographies of the Octopus Energy Group. This is a unique opportunity to hone your skills and make an impact daily in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
If you want to be at the cutting edge of energy tech, and manage the rollout of ambitious PR plans, then this could be the right role for you. You’ll forge relationships with key media professionals to keep them in the loop with our latest news. You’ll report into our Senior PR Manager where you will be an integral part of day-to-day press engagement, as well as work closely with the wider Octopus Energy Marketing team and other stakeholders across the company.
What you'll do Be a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for the wider PR teamBuild key PR relationships with digital, traditional, and broadcast journalistsHelp to manage our busy press office and organise the workflow of the teamWork on how Octopus PR can be applied to industry trends and developments, and spot big opportunities Execute and design press responses, releases, and supporting materials Stay close to trends in the green tech/renewables/EV space What you'll needMinimum 1-2 years experience in a PR or communications role in a fast-paced environment is essentialPR agency experience is ideal but not a mustA passion for what we’re doing.
