We look for talented people with diverse backgrounds to join our team. Right now, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Part-time Social Media Specialist for 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 4 hours a day) based out of our London, UK office (with a flexible hybrid working policy).

Your mission:

As a Part-time Social Media Specialist you will be part of our international, multidisciplinary Marketing community, with a focus on the UK and Ireland. 

Reporting into the Head of PR for UK and Ireland and working closely with the B2C and B2B Marketing Managers for UK & IE, you will help drive engagement and brand awareness across our various social media platforms. 

You have the exciting opportunity to collect relevant work experience in a fast-paced company with a great company culture. With your passion for social media and community building you bring in a fresh perspective to help shape and grow our channels.

Day to day responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day running of our owned social media platforms for the UK and Ireland (focusing primarily on Instagram and TikTok).This will include:

Daily community management and engagement to nurture and build our community.

Proactively identifying trends, cultural insights or content opportunities and sharing with the wider team.

Vetting any inbound requests and opportunities. 

Working collaboratively with our UK & IE marketing team to amplify relevant campaigns. 

Participating in creative brainstorming with the marketing and communications team. 

Monitoring and compiling social media analysis to help make informed decisions and share insights. 

Scheduling of globally produced content, as well as some content creation across video, images and copy 

Amplifying any relevant organic content published by our user community  

Requirements: 

Demonstrable experience in using social media. 

Knowledge of the dynamics and trends of key social media channels, incl. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok - you’re an active and passionate user of different social platforms and have the ability to assess performance metrics. 

Excellent communications skills - you’re a natural storyteller and copywriter with great attention to detail. 

A keen interest in sustainability and food-related media and industry news.

Passion for cultural trends and how these can translate to social media, with a positive and audience-centric mindset. 

Strong time management and organisational skills. A desire to help make a positive impact on our planet and society.

Fluent English speaker

Desirable but not essential:

Passionate about marketing and communications

Educated to degree-level in English, marketing, PR, communications or other related-fields
