About the role

Please note this is a Zepz role. As a member of Zepz  Legal  team you will aim high, embrace challenge and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s technical direction and long term decision making.

Reporting to Director, Legal, you will:

Be the primary point of contact or escalation for all NDA requests;

Support on company secretarial activities e.g. managing the completion of the Form of Sales with key shareholders, liaising with shareholders on queries regarding the Secondary and automating the process for populating the Stock Transfer Forms;

Support on data protection compliance work e.g. subject access requests;

Provide first reviews of commercial contracts and support on negotiations (e.g. SaaS, recruitment agreements, marketing services agreements);

Support on legal operation projects including; automation of processes, updates and changes to existing technology platforms, policy writing and implementation;

Assist  with brand protection work; and

Perform ad-hoc tasks to support the overall legal function.

What we’re looking for from you

Recent experience working with businesses in the Payments / FInancial Services sector is desirable but not essential.

Previous legal experience obtained through study or previous work experience is desirable.

Strong attention to detail.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise different workstreams in line with the needs of the Legal Team and wider business.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills: ability to build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally at all levels.

Ability to work independently, but also a team player: fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration across different teams and departments. 

Experience in developing and implementing workflows and process flows on technology platforms is desirable.
