Funny name, serious business

We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $10 million AUD (roughly $7.4 million USD) to fund water and sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good. 

With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our ambitious team of 200+ work tirelessly to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re working to increase our annual donation tenfold and we won’t rest until everyone in the world has access to clean water and sanitation services.

A bit about the role

The Marketing and Innovation team is at the heart of the creative and brand building work at Who Gives A Crap. It brings together different people like designers, copywriters, growth marketers, product developers, social media managers and brand marketers and it's the role of the Operations team to keep everyone on the same page and on task. With many exciting initiatives coming down the pipeline, we are seeking a proactive Marketing Operations Coordinator to enhance and augment the team’s day-to-day workflow.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations and Planning, you’re part of a dedicated team that ensures the team’s daily operations are running smoothly and on time by maintaining email groups, onboarding new team members, creating a team knowledge base and preparing decks for team meetings. You will also take an active role in supporting the Chief Brand Officer with calendar management and administrative tasks. You will support marketing operations with project and production needs when capacity allows.

Our Marketing and Innovation team spans across the US and Australia and we’re open to amazing candidates from anywhere in these two hubs. We’re not immune to the effects of challenging time zones but we look to solve this by committing to 4-6 hours per day of collaboration time which sees our US team aligning to PST afternoons and our Australian team diving into earlier mornings.

If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in: 

You’ve urgently adjusted some meetings on our CBOs calendar to accommodate a key project meeting that needs to happen

You’ve supported our CBO with administration tasks like expenses and have been her go-to for questions

You’ve helped wrangle all the information we plan to share in our team-wide all hands meeting and helped create the deck for the meeting

You’ve built out a new onboarding process for new Marketing + Innovation team members and supported P+C in ensuring everything in their first few weeks goes smoothly

You’ve helped make sure new processes and key team information is documented in Guru (our knowledge base software) so they can be easily accessible at all times

Moved a small project (refresh of a postcard) along with the creative team and ensured everyone was informed along the way
