We’re Entocycle, the insect technology company. We launched in 2017 with a mission to accelerate a global shift to sustainable protein using insects, technology and innovation. Our world-leading proprietary technology includes computer vision, automation, and machine learning to enable efficient and scalable insect farming for existing insect farms and new market entrants.

The Marketing Associate is a key part of our commercial team, taking a leading role on digital marketing, press and media and events.
You’ll be central to raising awareness of our brand, developing our deep-dive customer research, delivering our outbound marketing initiatives and working closely with the marketing and commercial team to accelerate the growth of Entocycle in our markets.
This is a ‘get-stuck-in’, pioneering role that has the potential to make a significant business and environmental impact. We are looking to connect and engage with clients, prospects and future employees with a brand and marketing experience that is inspiring, and engaging and provides our audience of business leaders with the right message at the right time.
You’ll be reporting into Jude, our Marketing Director, and will be joining a tight-knit commercial team that is passionate about sustainability, technology, and making Entocycle a global success story.
Responsibilities & tasks
Work on qualitative and quantitative research to assess market landscape of insect technology and insect protein category development
Work with the Marketing Director to define content and social media strategy and content calendar - defining the role of each channel to connect with our target audience of new insect farming market entrants and existing insect farms
Help shape a company-wide SEO strategy to maximize exposure and engagement with our content through search.
Plan and deliver digital marketing and our content calendar
Plan and execute trade promotion to help achieve sales target (likely attending 3-4 trade shows per year)
Lead on PR and media inbounds and facilitate select media requests with assistance from the Executive Assistant
Evaluate digital marketing performance that support marketing and commercial goals and prepare monthly reports
Contribute ideas and initiatives that will help make Entocycle famous and extend our reach
Ideal candidate
Skills & qualifications
4+ years marketing experience including the breadth of digital - from social media, to running ad campaigns and working CRM systems (Google Analytics necessary)
Strong channel and content management expertise: you have experience in running channels and social media campaigns
Ability to translate topline marketing goals into digital strategies and channel plans
A strong and proactive communicator and collaborator that ensures all stakeholders
and the wider team are in the loop, heard and engaged.Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing business and customer needs
Proficiency in using Google Workspace software e.g. Sheets, Slides, Forms
Self-motivated and good team player with excellent written communication and presentation skills
You have the personality to succeed in this role - friendly, energetic, flexible, hardworking and reliable. Attitude and work ethic will be really important in this role.

Ability to travel occasionally to trade shows and industry events (likely 3-4 per year)
Desirable but not essential:

Competent design skills (InDesign, Photoshop)
