As we continue to scale globally, we're looking for someone to lead recruitment for the APAC region for the Octopus Energy Group but there's a few things you should know...
You’ll have a lead role in growing our tech and non tech teams. Your role will range from ensuring we're maintaining the best candidate experience from managing and screening applications and how we attract candidates.
You’ve a burning desire to turn your skills to something meaningful. You enjoy the pace of the commercial world, but you want to be delivering something more sustainable to the world.
We don't use agencies. We've a team of great internal recruiters. We do everything from advertising to headhunting. You could say, in fact, that we’re half agency, but we’re your best ever client, the one you secretly yearned to work at.
This will be a lead role and looking after Octopus Energy's hiring across Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
The ideal candidate will be based in Tokyo, Japan and speak fluently both Japanese and English. What you'll do Partner with our different teams and entities around the APAC region to understand who and what we're looking forProactively source for key tech and non tech roles using our tools and any other creative ways of searching you come up withEnsure the best candidate experience whilst working with multiple roles at the same time Look at different ways to build diverse talent pipelines that support with your sourcing campaigns As we enter new countries and new technologies you will work with the teams to establish a recruitment strategy Work closely with our global team specifically alongside our head of talent acquisition and Head of Tech RecruitmentWhat you'll needIn-depth knowledge of recruitment across various skillsets - for example a Developer with Python or a senior commercial manager Comfortable with technology hiring Ideally experience hiring in the APAC marketsKnowledge of recruitment advertising platforms and sourcing tools in APAC Previous experience in a dynamic scaling environment Be very organised - have strong time management and prioritising skills, good attention to detail, able to and able to deliver to tight deadlinesTo be comfortable working with some ambiguity; enjoy mucking in and wearing multiple hats Why else you'll love it hereOur company culture -
