Job Description

We're a London-based Tech for Good startup disrupting the old school way of employee volunteering. We’ve just raised our pre-seed round so you’ll be joining at a really exciting stage of our growth!

Our approach reimagines volunteering. We pair employees with unique volunteering opportunities at exciting non-profits and startups by helping them find their perfect cause and the best use of their skills - some might call it a perfect ‘match’!

We’ve experienced fantastic traction since launch in 2019 and are currently onboarding some of the UK’s biggest and most innovative companies, with the aim of delivering £2 billion of value via 6 million hours of volunteering to organisations changing the world over the next 3 years.

We launched the newest version of our platform in September 2021 and are excited to be taking Matchable to the next level by scaling our client base, becoming the go-to company for employee volunteering!

Responsibilities & tasks

You’ll be joining our tight-knit team as a junior team member who is willing to get stuck into lots of things and embrace start-up life! Your focus will largely be on the impact organisation side of the business, helping us to grow the number of impact organisations (that’s charities, social enterprises and impact startups) in our network and increase the number of projects that we can offer to our existing clients and new prospects.

This role will cover a few core areas:

Outreach to impact organisations: You will be the person building our list of impact organisations to reach out to in order to meet the demand for skills-based, in-person and bespoke volunteering projects. You will be using a range of sources to populate the top of the pipeline with incredible non-profits and tech for goods that are building exciting and impactful initiatives. You will also be enrolling these leads into Salesforce email sequences with the ultimate aim of getting them to submit a project with us! Your role will be key to helping us build our network of impact organisations.

Project write-ups: You will be reviewing projects submitted and writing up project briefs that will be uploaded onto our platform to be matched with volunteers! You’ll be making sure that projects are written up to the highest standard.

Tracking: You will track all projects written up and uploaded onto our platform and ensure our matching team is always up to date on which projects are live and ready to match.

Generally, you’ll be happy to get stuck into any task and support the customer success team when needed, becoming a key part of team Matchable! You’ll learn a range of skills from general admin to research!

We’re growing quickly and we want you to grow with us. If you nail the role, you’ll get more responsibility!
