About the Role:Ā Ā
The Systems Engineering (SE) Team is responsible for ensuring that our spacecrafts and ground systems are designed, built, and operated efficiently; meet system requirements and stakeholder needs; and support the ongoing success of the company.Ā In this role, you will interact with all the spacecraft subsystem teams and coordinate the Assembly Integration and Testing (AI&T), and Verification and Validation (V&V) of our next generation of satellites.Ā
This position is a part of our twelve week summer internship program that starts on Monday, June 12th 2023 and concludes on September 1st, 2023.
Impact Youāll Own:
Coordinate multiple engineering teams
Explore and develop solutions for technical problems during AI&T and V&V
Build and test flight hardware
What You Bring:
Fundamental knowledge of spacecraft design and its subsystems
A systems-thinking approach and ability to think how local optimizations can impact the overall spacecraft performance
Hands-on can-do attitude, great interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively lead and manage the collaboration across many technical teams
Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-pacing environment
What Makes You Stand Out:
Experience with testing in one or multiple of the following areas: embedded systems, EMI/EMC,Ā vibration and/or thermal
Programming experience in Python and/or C

Compensation:
The US hourly rate range for this position at the commencement of employment is $35 - $40. The final salary range is determined by job related experience, skills and location.Ā The range displays our typical hiring range for new hire salaries in US locations only.Ā Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
