We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Supply Chain & Buying to join Too Good To Go in our Copenhagen headquarters.

The expected starting date of this position is February/March 2023. 

Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing you will play in an instrumental role in the development and expansion of our new Manufacturing offering, where we save food from manufacturers from going to waste by buying their surplus products and creating “Magic Parcels” for consumers to purchase. In this role you will act as both a Supply Planner and Supply Buyer. You will: 

Design, scope, build and implement scalable processes for Supply Planning and Supply Buying. 

Be responsible for supply planning, understanding what supply we need, for which Magic Parcel products, at what price and quantity. As a Supply Planner you are responsible for providing frequent supply recommendations to the buyers in our markets.

Ensure that we purchase supply in adherence with our planning. As Supply Buyer you will support markets to adhere to the supply plan.

Understand the manufacturer and the manufacturing segments in depth and use insights to develop and maintain the overall value proposition to the Manufacturers, as well as provide key input to the Operations lead and Product Manager.

Improve the process for optimizing Magic Parcel composition (optimize around inventory, sales and customer satisfaction).

Break down Supply Planning processes and Buying processes to Product Requests and be a key sparring partner to the Product Manager.

Be the “boots on the ground” when we launch in a country, developing the supply plan and processes for buying for the market. You will be the go-to person for markets for all supply and customer feedback related problems and opportunities.

 

Requirements:

You have previously worked in a similar role, with solid experience in purchasing, preferably from a food manufacturer. 

Relevant experience and knowledge of supply planning.

Experience in a multi-national setting, including creating, documenting and implementing new ways of working across different markets.

Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).

Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills

Full proficiency in English. Being also fluent in Danish will be a plus!
