Octopus Energy ECO is insulating homes across the UK, but with that insulation work comes the need for a great leader as we grow and become a significant influencer in the insulation space!
You will be working closely with the director of Octopus ECO, as you play a leading role in our growth. You will lead with a customer-centric mindset - at Octopus, the customer is at the heart of everything we do.
You will learn all about low carbon tech and influence future training at our Nottingham Knowledge centre with a real focus on a “fabric first” approach.
This role is remote, but will require frequent travel to our Nottingham site.
What you'll do You’ll work as part of the Senior Management team to develop the in house Installation area to meet the vision and strategy as provided by the Director of Octopus Energy ECOYou will be responsible for quality and performance of direct reports as well as the crews who visit homes on our behalfYou will be leading from the front and displaying a true Octopus ethos and personalityYou will at times be assisting with the orchestration of both insulation and at times accompanying renewable technologiesYou’ll learn about new technologies and get awesome training to give you the skills to assist your teams of Insulation Installers from day oneYou’ll use your knowledge and experience of running Install teams across the UK and demonstrating to new and less experienced staff just how to provide a leading Customer experiencePlanning and communicating with your team and customersProblem Solve - nothing is insurmountable - you’ll anticipate problems and find solutions quickly and efficiently.What you'll needYou’ll be an experienced manager of field based teamsBe able to demonstrate a good knowledge of how to deliver a great service and meet strategic KPI’sA laser customer focus - communication is keyA proactive, ‘can do’ attitude - we’ll do everything to make the customer experience perfectA keen eye for detail and problem-solving skillsFlexibility to travel as we cover the UKWhy else you'll love it hereWondering what the salary for this role is?
