We’re looking for a talented Head of Operations to join us in our Brighton office. You’ll be responsible for taking the lead to ensure a smooth running of a large customer support team across a variety of business areas; managing performance, overseeing the day-to-day operation and being the brains behind an abundance of exciting new projects, big and small which you will get stuck into and support your teams with. What you'll do Directly managing a group of operations managers, who in turn look after a group of team managers of whom manage a large team of customer support specialists who work alongside an even larger team of field engineers across lots of low carbon
(it’s a big team!)Manage and oversee the running of the operations function including but not limited to: Team management, Operational reporting, Managing third parties and Industry complianceWork closely with our Operations Director and Head of Operations, to analyse performance reports and lead on processes improvementsLead internal and external meetings with senior stakeholdersHelp grow our team and support our growth and recruitment strategySupport employee communication with the management teamProvide operational expertise and support to our wider teamsYou will have a deep understanding of Octopus culture and customer experience; setting the tone for your teamWhat you'll needYou’ll have experience in management, operations, and leadership ideally within a super customer centric, fast paced businessYou’re a team player and relationship builder.
