We have an opportunity for a Financial Director to join our Senior Leadership Team.
In this role, you will lead our core finance functions - Financial Management & Accounting, Financial Operations, Financial Risk, Credit & Underwriting and Pricing. You will also support our Strategic Finance team - from debt funding and hedging strategy, to financial planning.
You’ll be responsible for performance, planning and development across each area in finance including further developing the teams that we have in place.
We operate in a new and growing industry and like to challenge conventional thinking, for example, in Pricing and Credit - areas that you’ll have direct responsibility for. This role will give you the opportunity to design and own our performance in these and other areas as we continue to scale rapidly.What you'll do...Own core finance in our Electric Vehicle scale-up leasing business Lead on the performance and output of teams in each area Write the roadmap for the function and ensure delivery Plan, hire and manage the teamBe the voice for core Finance on our Senior Leadership TeamEncourage a culture of collaboration Oversee all financial operations including statutory reporting, cash flow management, debtor management, financial performance, invoicing, asset purchasing, contract amendments and data input, and recording in our systemsOwn our Credit Policy and Underwriting teamOversee pricing working closely with Strategic Finance, Data and GrowthWhat you'll need...Experience across a number of the key areas of responsibility outlined aboveIdeally experience managing large debt linesExperience working at a fast scaling FinTech / financial services businessBe able to plan and scale teams and create strong processes, including through automationTo be a qualified accountant or CFA with a good understanding of leasing and/or lendingWhy else you'll love it hereWondering what the salary for this role is?
