You'll be heading a team of four (with plans to scale the squad out even further) working form implementation, planning through to delivery of crucial integrations of varying sizes, connecting some of the worlds biggest brands to Wagestream.
You will have a seasoned team behind you, responsible for getting the systems live while working closely with Product, having charge of the full cycle, seeing a visible impact on the product offering.
Dependant on your strengths, this could be more people management or hands on. The technology stack is a backend of AWS + Python + Postgres and frontend mix of vue.js, react, typescript, styled components, Cordova, Fastlane, and jQuery but experience with those particular technologies is not required. You should, however, have a proven track-record of delivering integrations.
You should also be comfortable integrating with various 3rd party APIs, both to facilitate financial transactions via financial service providers and integrating with payroll systems to extract employee and payroll data.
Prior experience with banking or payments is nice, but not required
Within 1 month you’ll have:
Developed a good understanding of our architecture, and how we make changes to it
Paired with your team on the scoping and launching of a new client
Deployed change to the Wagestream system
Within 3 months you’ll:
Have developed strong relationships with the entire engineering team, and be able to collaborate with them cross-functionally as required
Lead on development of new integrations led features
Launched a client at Wagestream, bringing financial wellbeing to thousands of employees
Within 6 months you’ll have:
Become a subject-matter expert for integrations and have strong opinions for improvements to Wagestream products
