We currently only have one full-time electronics engineer working across our robot and harvesting tools. We need another electronics engineer to join and work collaboratively to help design, manufacture and test all our different electronic systems for our equipment (PCBs, Power Electronics, Cable Harnesses)
This is a unique opportunity to use your experience to push the boundaries of robotics products in the agriculture industry and in doing so, become an integral part of Muddy Machines.
This is primarily an on-site role due to the nature of the work.
Bharath, one of our Mechanical Engineers had this to say about working at Muddy Machines: "In my 10 years of experience designing various things, the most exciting part of the job has always been problem-solving. In previous roles, it was a lot of fun, but looking back from a worldly perspective, it had a very small impact. But at Muddy Machines, the countless hours I have spent thinking/imagining actually helps the most underrated job of all - feeding people!"
As an Electronics Engineer at Muddy Machines, you will:
Develop an understanding of our current systems, how they interact and help implement changes as wemove towards production
Develop and support the development of test fixtures, testing of existing systems, along with semi-automated production testing for new designs
Carry out the design, implementation and documentation of cable harnesses on our robotic vehicle and harvester prior to production
Help assemble, test and validate our harvesting robots and harvesters.
Collaborate with other engineers across disciplines to deliver industry-defining products
Work across all product stages, from research and development to implementation and field trials
Conduct field trials throughout the year to test your technologies
