About the Role:
As a Delivery Driver, you are directly responsible for delivering boxes to our customers in the Los Angeles, CA (Oxnard) area in a professional and timely manner. You will be expected to deliver up to 100 boxes in a shift. You are also responsible for ensuring that the boxes are in pristine shape, delivered to the correct address, and during the correct time window. You will be the main liaison between Imperfect and the customer to ensure that all procedures are followed and that the highest quality of boxes is being delivered to customers.Skills and Qualifications:Must be at least 21 years old, and have a valid driver's licenseAbility to read and understand delivery instructions.Have a working Smartphone with data plan for pictures (you will receive a cell phone allowance)Highly organized and strong attention to detail. Details of Position:Competitive pay: $18 per hour, plus occasional overtime. What you will be doing:Delivering Imperfect Foods grocery boxes to customers in your assigned area, paying special attention to customer instructionsPicking up select packaging items from our customers as part of our recycling programCourteously driving from customer to customer in a Company-provided vanYou may be expected to deliver up to 150 boxes per shift and must pay close attention to delivery instructionsHelping with loadout, transferring boxes into the delivery vansKeeping in constant communication with your dispatcherFollowing all traffic laws, being an alert, courteous, and defensive driverMaintaining cleanliness of the company van and reporting any damages or accidents immediately
