We're looking for someone who will work in our credit risk function and develop our capabilities across both business and consumer portfolios.

Businesses and households are facing significantly higher energy prices just as we enter winter. This situation is compounded with the end of furlough and reductions to Universal Credit payments. For these reasons we are looking to add to our credit risk capabilities with this new role.
What you'll do Take ownership of our credit strategies for residential and business customersDevelop our credit scorecardsPayments and payment adequacy strategyCollections insight and strategyDevelop our empathic approaches towards vulnerable customersCredit risk reporting and management informationStrategies to identify and prevent first party and third party fraudBad debt provision and write-offsDo all the above in partnership with Data Science, Finance, Collections, Ops and other stakeholdersWhat you'll haveExcellent SQL skillsPython data science stack experience (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, Jupyter notebooks, Plotly/matplotlib)Git for version control experienceData visualization tool experience (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI or equivalent)Experience of consumer credit risk and collections is ideal but not essentialDBT experience a bonus but not essentialWhy else you'll love it hereWondering what the salary for this role is?
