Job Description

Business Development Associate

Salary: Β£35,000-Β£40,000 (with Β£5,000 performance based bonus paid quarterly) per annum
Contract: Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours per week)
Line manager: Business Development Manager
Location: London Bridge, partial WFH expected.
Anticipated start date: Jan 2023

About Entocycle

At Entocycle, Silicon Valley technology meets waste-recycling insects. We are developing and deploying the world's most efficient and sustainable technology to make the production of insect protein more accurate and efficient. We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Associate to join our dynamic start-up team as we build fully automated, smart insect factories to help sustainably feed the world.

Role Focus

Our new Business Development Associate will help us to supercharge our post Series-A commercial efforts, working dynamically with the broader commercial team to develop client and partner relationships as well as commercial strategies. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for working both with corporate clients for full facility deployments and existing insect farmer clients for patented hardware and software solutions.

  • Manage sales pipeline and CRM

  • Lead generation

  • Company research

  • Pitch presentations

  • Categorise and respond to passive client inbounds

  • Work with clients through project management processes

  • Maintain Key-Account relationships

  • Work with Business Development Manager on company strategy

  • Work on commercial goal setting and reporting

  • Work closely with the technical team to communicate and action relevant customer feedback
