About the Role:  

Planet is looking for a self-motivated, customer service driven Benefits Partner to join our People team! This person will play an important role in Planet’s daily operations supporting employees by administering Planet’s U.S. benefits programs (health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, etc.) and acting as the internal point-of-contact for questions and support regarding Planet’s U.S. benefits programs, and hosting semi-and annual benefits and wellness initiatives.

Impact You’ll Own:

Administers and communicates the company's benefits program regarding plan options, policy features, enrollment, and other requirements

Assist in planning, developing, and redesigning company benefits programs and analyzing benefit costs

Help develop communication and implementation of wellness and health education initiatives

Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws

Manage relationships with brokers, vendors, and service providers to manage benefit offerings (including benefit administration for U.S. open enrollment) and field employee benefit questions

Manage leaves of absence, worker’s compensation claims and workplace accommodations including ADA (U.S. only)

Partners with Finance, Legal and HR colleagues to ensure policies are communicated effectively

What You Bring:

6+ years of benefits or employee benefits administration experience

Compliance experience

Retirement plan administration and reporting

Ability to succeed in a dynamic environment

Proven track record of reliability and responsibility

Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

Detail oriented, discreet, and able to handle confidential information

What Makes You Stand Out:

Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field or equivalent related experience

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP and CEBS professional designation(s)

Compensation:

The US base salary range for this full-time position at the commencement of employment is $77,000 - $126,800.  Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives (bonus and equity). The final salary range is determined by job related experience, skills and location.  The range displays our typical hiring range for new hire salaries in US locations only.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
