We’ve fallen head-over-heels in love with renewable tech, which will reduce a customer’s carbon footprint and give them control over their energy use. We are looking for experienced planning and technical experts who share our vision: help customers move away from fossil fuels, towards sustainable, smart technologies.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AutoCAD & Planning Technician to join us in Brighton. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD plan creation, elevation drawings and site layouts for a variety of projects.What you'll do Render & create detailed drawings and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software.Prepare site elevations and Heat Pump planning application drawings to scale from photos and other formats.Modify existing designs when necessary.Ensure that all designs meet required specifications and standards.Help our team understand the planning process and guide them.What you'll needProficiency in AutoCAD, with strong of experience in AutoCAD draftingKnowledge of the UK, domestic planning permission systemAble to produce scale drawingsStrong attention to detail and accuracyTo be a team player and relationship builder. The ability to build great working relationships with people across cultures and perspectivesTo be agile. You are positive and proactive, and energised by working in a fast-paced environment characterised by constant changeA high level of adaptability and agility to manage multiple projects at one time (we are growing quickly!)You will be able to think creatively and logically to react to changes in strategyTo be someone who establishes and works with a network quickly to deliver promptly, with a focus on quality and deliveryYou will be analytical, seeking out data and using this to inform your decisionsEnergy industry experience is desirable but by no means essential! You’ll quickly pick up what you need to knowBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in relevant field
