We’re looking for an exceptional Associate Director of Key Accounts to join the Global superstar team at Too Good To Go and become part of the Leadership team for Southern Europe (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal).

 

Your mission

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and mission-driven Associate Director of Key Accounts with a passion for tackling food waste, driving efficiency, optimizing processes and strong stakeholder management. We are looking for someone who is ready to raise the bar and show us what best in class looks like 🚀

Role description

You will be responsible for building the key account strategy of Southern Europe (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal) together with the markets to grow existing key accounts, increase supply and drive demand through trade marketing

You will be responsible for delivering the key account growth forecast for the region and making sure market pipelines are healthy at all times

You will drive unblocking of stalled key account opportunities, including commercial deal making support for new and existing key accounts

You will drive implementation of playbooks and best practice to ensure structure and continuous improvement of market performance. 

You will promote knowledge sharing between the Heads of Key Accounts of each country in the region

You will ensure that market growth plans (for both acquisition of new chains and growth of existing ones) are rooted in existing best practices and with maximum use of available resources

Together with the Global Key Account team, you will be responsible for priority setting of global projects, standards and KPI performance tracking

Together with the other regional Associate Directors of Key Accounts you raise the bar for our key account business in general, making Too Good To Go world class in key account management

You will own the deployment of new products and tools, and together with the marketing team ensure valuable trade marketing activities for the region

You will be working with market teams to develop and sell in the best solutions (across a suite of products) for each account based on their key specific needs

You will ensure that top key accounts are growing ahead of overall key account performance through tailored approach and resource allocation

Requirements

You have substantial experience within a commercial leadership role, spanning across multiple countries and leading leaders

Experience in driving business growth and strategic initiatives across markets

Experience in commercial deal making with key accounts and/or enterprises

You know what it takes to get a “yes” from a complex decision-making unit

You have extensive experience in deal making with key accounts and/or enterprises and know how to guide teams to get the best ultimate deal

Experience from the food retail or out-of-home industry is a plus  

You know how to create and manage a key account sales and account management, and understand the complexity of solution selling

You know how to sell a portfolio of solutions and how to use this to have a value added selling approach, based on our partners’ needs and pains

You know what it takes to operate in a matrix organization with direct and indirect reporting lines and are excellent at stakeholder management

You know how to work with Salesforce and have solid experience in pipeline management

You are a make-it-happen person who is excited to roll up your sleeves, while also thinking about longer-term business implications and requirements

You have a true passion for sustainability - you understand the urgency of action for the planet
