Job Description

Job Purpose: You will support and assist in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the finance department. This role is and includes cashflow projections, monthly reconciliations, and other ad-hoc responsibilities, such as helping the management team to use financial information to inform business strategy. You will also input the annual financial statements and liaise with auditors.

Key Accountabilities

Financial Reporting: Your role will involve posting of and maintenance of the Groups General Ledger as well as month end procedures and reporting. You will also assist decision-making across the business with ad hoc financial analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities

Monthly analysis of the suppliers' costs for Supply Management to ensure cost efficiency

Analysis and reconciliation of accounts to ensure their completeness and accuracy

Preparing weekly payment runs and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit

Managing ad hoc outgoing payments

Liaising with external stakeholders regarding finance-related queries and improvement of

current processes

Processing expenses for staff

Managing the Accounts Payable inbox

Receiving and recording the receipt of invoices

Following up on unauthorised invoices/credits

Posting of journals into the financial system

Advanced MS Excel experience is essential and experience of web-based systems an advantage

Demonstrates the ability to analyse and understand data and information quickly. Using information, insights and knowledge in a structured way to identify options and make recommendations

Comfortable with numbers with the ability to communicate financial constructs to non-financial people
