Why do we need to do that? Because more than 1/3 of the food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss!
As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. But we’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation and our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste, so we’re doing all we can to create educational tools, make our knowledge as accessible as possible, find new business solutions and even change legislation to reduce food waste.
We’re growing fast, together with our community of 67 million users in 17 countries we saved more than 177 million meals from going to waste - we are incredibly proud of this, but there’s still a lot more we want to achieve.
That means we’re looking for talented people with diverse skills and backgrounds to add to our rapidly growing team. That is where you come in: we’re looking for an exceptional Partner Growth Specialist (Account Manager) to join us in our Belgian office.
Sounds like your kind of mission?
Taking good care of our partners is very important to us. As a Partner Growth Specialist, you’ll join our Independent Partners team in our office in Ghent and will be taking care of a part of our network of more than 4000 stores, together with 3 other colleagues. You will be in tight contact with our partners on a daily basis and be as helpful as you can to make sure they have an amazing experience with Too Good To Go and become real ambassadors of the food waste revolution.
Through your analysis of partner performance and benchmarking, you identify upselling potential and take appropriate action.
You set up innovative campaigns to help our Independent Partner businesses save more food and make the most of the partnership.
You find creative ways to get our message across to our partners. The most common way to do this will be via phone calls, although we also use e-mail and sometimes do in-store visits to our partners.
You maintain a transnational exchange with your colleagues, get inspiration from international projects and share Belgian best practice examples.
Are you the Waste Warrior we’re looking for?
You are fluent in Dutch and English, French is a big plus
You have already gained initial experience in partner and account management or in a similar field of activity.
You are experienced in working with KPIs and have an analytical mindset. Ideally, you have previous experience in sales/upselling.
You are communicative, expressive and convincing on the phone.
Your way of working is solution-oriented, innovative and data-based.
You are a team player, work in a structured manner and keep a cool head even in stressful situations.
Ideally, but not necessarily, you have project management skills.
You are growth-minded and strive to make things even better and more efficient.
You have strong organisational skills. You have an eye for detail, you are great in administrative follow-ups.
You are passionate about fighting food waste, and can’t wait to join us to make an impact!
