πŸ” Our mission & vision

auticon is a global award-winning social enterprise driven by our mission to address the inequalities in employment for autistic and neurodivergent people. For over a decade we have enabled autistic people to thrive in successful careers as IT consultants, and in doing so we have had a measurable impact on the organisations we work with, changing perceptions of the commercial and cultural benefits of a neurodiverse workforce. We are proud to be a majority-autistic organisation.

🌍 Our impact & how we measure it

We measure our impact as a company in 3 ways – individual (the difference we make to the lives of autistic professionals), organisational (how we enable organisations become neuro-confident and neuro-inclusive) and societal (how we move the needle on autism awareness and acceptance in society).

You can see our full global impact report for 2022 here: https://auticon.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/auticon-Impact-Report-2021-English-1.pdf

In 2022 92% of our consultants said they felt supported at work and 83% reported an improvement to their well-being with 79% feeling more confident. Over 90% of our consultants said they felt valued for who they are.

85% of our corporate clients felt they had a greater understanding of neurodiversity as a result of working with us and 93% of our clients told us that auticon consultants made a valuable professional contribution to their projects.

We are always looking for ways to have a broader impact on society and so in the UK we produce β€˜Autism: In conversation with auticon’ - a podcast series designed to drive awareness of the realities of autism in the workplace, from the merits of hiring neurodiverse talent, through to some of the more common challenges and lived experiences faced by autistic adults navigating the workplace. Hosted by Carrie Grant MBE, each episode features interviews with leading voices on autism, including figures from the business world, social media influencers and autism academics. Our podcast was in Spotify’s top 15% of podcasts most-shared globally in 2022.
